Who can benefit from the use of magnets?
People with chronic back pain report obtaining significant relief by sleeping on magnetic mattress pads and using magnetic seat cushions. Tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and other tendon or ligament problems may heal faster when wrapped in magnetic bandages or magnets are applied to the area. In some hospitals, powerful electromagnetics are used to speed healing of broken bones. Regular use of magnets may even help prevent asthma and relieve headaches. The benefits of magnetic therapy are often apparent within the first hour of treatment, sometimes three or four days of steady treatment are required.
Other conditions that may benefit from the use of magnets include arthritis, gout, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and insomnia, to name a few.
How do magnets work?
PAIN RELIEF is the most common use of magnets. It is not entirely understood just how magnets work. Some theories suggest they may assist the normal electric circuits in the body and may disrupt the processing of pain signals in the brain. Magnets may increase the capillary blood flow which may help flush lactic acid and other inflammatory agents that build up in the tissue. This may help to relieve pain and inflammation. The blood supply also carries oxygen which may be helpful in relaxing muscles and relieving cramps and spasms which are oxygen starved. This is the same reason massage is often used to loosen muscles in spasm; to allow blood to flow and deliver oxygen necessary to terminate the spasm.
Vibrational healing is a process whereby vibrations are introduced or transferred into a human being’s physical and energetic bodies, so that the vibrations which have become unbalanced in the human physical or auric body are adjusted. This is based on the idea that illness or disease in the human and auric body is characterized by blockages and imbalances. These blockages and imbalances causes a cell, organ, system, or energetic body to slow it’s vibration. Slow vibrations result in disease (dis-ease) or illness. The process of vibrational healing adjusts these unbalanced vibrations.
To be healthy, an individual needs to have a high rate of vibration in their physical and auric bodies. This vibration is nourished in many ways including what we think, feel, believe, see, hear, smell, touch, eat, drink, breathe, and are exposed to. As an individual becomes ill their rate of vibration lowers. As the rate of vibration lowers the individual becomes more susceptible to other negative energies and invaders and the cycle of poor health becomes self-perpetuating.
